ZMS Fam’s Weekly Update

Just thought I would pass along a brief history of our lives since last Friday.

India and her boyfriend Drew.

We were invited to attend a minor league baseball game in Rhode Island on Saturday. We sat in the outfield on a tiny strip of lawn (don’t worry, not actually in the field). Anyway, it was loads of fun and India really enjoyed all the people and music… especially when the home team, the Paw Sox, began to score. It was a terrible game. We were down 10 to 2 most of the evening.
Anyway, we had a ball hit straight to us. We didn’t go after it, but we were able to hear it thud on the groud and watch everyone scramble for the ball. Thought we’d get smacked in the head… those balls are hard to keep track of.
Befoer we left we sat in the stadium right behind home plate! Really neat. Not something we could do at Fenway Park those seats would cost $900 or more there. Baseball in Boston is pretty crazy.

Yesterday India helped with washing the car… there’s even photo evidence.

Today India and I, along with a bunch of other moms, went to an organic farm just outside the city and picked strawberries.
They are to die for!!! Oh…..my…..gosh. You have never tasted such sweet berries… ok, maybe those in Carlsbad have. But they are a different variety than in Cali and not to mention vine ripened. Wow. I wish I could go there every week… but alas, the season only lasts 2 or 3 weeks. The farm is having their strawberrie festival on Saturday so there won’t be much left after that. I wish I had more berries and knew how to make jam. Ironically I am the only one in the house that will eat them. Zach can’t eat them and for whatever reason India has never like strawberries… even these.

This is the big, sleepy dog India just couldn’t get enough of.
