Best Friends Forever
This week we got to see Alexa, one of India’s best friends from Boston. She visited her grandma who lives in Washington DC. Our trip began with a visit to Ezra’s new doctor. He got 4 shots! Poor kid. He recoved quickly and we were off to DC.
This whole week has been raining, but thankfully the rain had stopped for our drive down to the capitol. It was a beautiful drive. Once we got into the city I realized just how close Alexa’s grandma lives to the heart of the city. Right on Pennsylvania Avenue. She lives in a flat of the top floor of a 15 story building and can see the capitol from her beautiful picture windows.
Since Alexa’s family have wanted a family portrait for awhile now, I brought camera and lights along. After Marvin sclepped the equipment up for me, I of course decided that the light was perfect in this particular corner. And it was. Just see for yourself.
Then on Wednesday, Alexa and her parents came to visit our house. It was so nice to have friends visit our home. I think they are the first Bostonians to visit. What a great time we had, chatting away. India was sorry to see them leave… so was I.

Long belated update
It has been some time since I have posted to this blog. Zach set up another, photo blog for the daily photographs we take. So I have been spending a lot of time posting new images there. Well, not that much time, but as much as my life will allow for. In any case, there are many events that have not been properly documented in our blog.
Ok, here’s the first, and most important:

These are Ezra’s first photographs Continue reading this entry »
