Kids’ photo shoot
Today we had a picnic! It was pretty cool outside and our yard has a lot of shade. I really, really wanted to be outside. I have been weening myself from my crutches since Friday and I felt today was the day.
With a bit of planning we made it out ate and had a little photo shoot with India.
After Ezra’s nap he was really happy and in these cute shorts so I thought he should have a turn in front of the camera too.
I have been inspired by so many other photographers and their sites and blogs that I really want to photograph. I think being stuck really has gotten me motivated. Thankfully this is a temporary condition, and I’ve got some willing subjects otherwise I would really go crazy.
So great to have a”Documentary Photographer” in the family. Your photos are great. India really looks quite grownup in the first shot. And it seems that everytime we see a picture of Ezra he has changed so much. We miss not having you here! Wish we weren’t so far apart.

Posted August 22, 2006, 4:28 pmYour kids are growing up so fast! What great pictures. I wished you lived closer so I could have you take some of Evan. Crutches? What happened? I hope you will heal quickly. I can’t imagine being on crutches and taking care of 2 children. Take care.
