Snow
It has snowed several times this year. Each time is pretty unique.
The first snowfall we were able to make a snowman. It was amazing! We were actually able to roll the snow to make the balls. I’ve never been able to do that. Perfect snow. Too bad there wasn’t more of it. Our snowman had lots of grass stuck in it.

The next time it snowed it came down in torrents. Thankfully by the time I had to pick up India it had stopped and Ezra and I could walk. But it was freezing! The wind was blowing so cold we almost died. Then on the way back the sun came out and almost melted everything in the 10 minutes it takes to get home. I got a photo of the forsythia bush blooming from the warmest January ever with a bit of snow on it. There was more snow only 5 minutes earlier when I first saw it.

The latest snow storm begun on my way to pick up India. I thought she would enjoy walking home in the snow and boy were we not disappointed. I think the snowflakes were close to the size of baseballs. It was amazing! Like feathers falling from the sky. I tried to photograph this phenomenon but had a hard time capturing what it truly looked like. Here’s the view from our back window.
