Stacie and Zach

Ezra loves Soccer

Sunday was another beautiful day. After church and naps we headed outside and Ezra had a blast kicking the soccer ball around the front yard. This is something India and I do while we wait for the bus to pick her up. Hewanted to try it out too.

The House Search

Zach just sent me this listing.  It just went on and will probably be snatched up quickly.  Check it out for yourselves and see what really gets us excited in a house… aside from the really cool furniture.  Check out the wall to the kitchen (left side of the first image) and the really cool windows in the family room (last shot).  Lots of natural light and visual interest.

At the Farm

Today was such a nice, warm day we had to visit the farm.  Our good friends, with whom we shared Ezra’s b-day with, live and work on the farm about 4 miles away from us.  When we were there last I saw this little hut that I called the “squatter’s hut” and Laura didn’t know what it was for and had never noticed it before.  In any case, I had to go back to photograph it ’cause it is so cool.  So that’s what the kids and I did this morning before school.  We also tried to catch a glimpse of the new foal born a couple weeks ago.  No luck with that one, but here are a few shots near the hut… which, we found out, one of the farmers is using as a place for meditation.

Happy St. Pat’s

This is India and Ezra waiting for the bus Friday before St. Pat’s Day.  Too bad it never came and school was canceled due to a rain fall that could have turned to ice.  You’d think snow only happened once every 10 years the way they cancel schools.

We got an offer

We got an offer yesterday after our house had been on the market for one day!  Can’t believe it.
If it actually goes through our move date will be April 24th.  Things are coming together.  Keep your fingers crossed.

We’re Moving… again!

It is official.  Our house is currently on the market.  If you know anyone interested in moving to the BEST neighborhood just outside the city of Baltimore send them our way.

We should be moving to Denver by mid May.  Can you believe it?  We really didn’t think this was going to happen.  Zach got a really great job… one that he couldn’t refuse.  If you would like more details, please email me directly.  Suffice it to say he will be working with cochlear implants at a company called Cochlear, based out of Australia.  Not only will he have a great job, he/we will be traveling to Aussie each year.  Pretty cool.
For those of you who were unable to visit us in this house (we have only been here for 1.5 years) below are a few photos that I took for our listing.  Oh yeah, there is also evidence of Ezra walking in these.  Oh, and if you have been here things may look a bit different.  I wish we had an excuse to dress up our place when we move in.  Not when we are leaving!
