After all that rain we grew HUGE mushrooms in our front yard. Too bad we don't know if they are edible. We could make a huge meal!

Last day of school

India had a picnic for her last day of school. The whole family come out for it... Mommy, Daddy, and Ezra. We are sad to see the school year end. India made lots of new friends there.

India's party

India had a lot of fun at her fairy princess party. First we played musical flowers... which didn't go over very well with the kids. They didn't understand that they had to keep moving when the music was playing. After musical flowers we read a story about a boy fairy and a girl who met one Halloween night. It is a great story with wonderful illustrations. The kids and parents both enjoyed that. After the story we had a fairy hunt in the yard. India and I had painted little fairies and strung them on strings. In fact, India painted all the boy fairies. The parents hid them in the bushes while the kids were distracted with musical flowers. Then it was time for cake! I made cupcakes to cut down on the mess. I think that worked out well. There are no photos of Ezra because, thankfully, he slept through the majority of the party and work up happy. Couldn't ask for anything more. India then spent about 30 minutes unwraping gifts. At least it seemed like 30 minutes. Everyone had a tons of fun and we enjoyed all the kids running around our back yard!
